Location
Being cut off breakfast at 928am Breakfast should be untill 10am min. Being served the eggs and meat and not being able to see it before it hit your plate. Food was hidden behind a counter. Room smelled of smoke from a previous guest. No patio as advertised and was stuck in an upstairs room.

The breakfast was almost enjoyable, except they ran out of eggs before 9, completely unacceptable. I expected at least a complimentary snack for all my troubles, but of course that didn't happen, did it?

By and large, it was handy base for sightseeing in Winnipeg, had much fun and met knowledgeable staff especially the manager always joking around with my dad.

Convenient access from the Perimeter Highway made getting around simple. The beds felt comfortable, providing decent sleep after a long day out.
Navigating the parking lot got confusing, especially for those unfamiliar with the area. Our Queen Room had a noticeable lack of hygiene, with dirty linens found at the head of the bed. Morning breakfast times ended a bit earlier than expected, leaving us rushing to get in as it closed down too quickly.

On my original reservation we asked to stay on the main level. However, when we arrived the desk clerk stated that we want an extra $11.80 Why didnt you inform me on the original quote that it was an extra charge? He then rudely informed me that it is irrelevant what I required that I had to pay or else leave but I would still be charged for the room. In his defense he seemed rather stressed out with the previous guests checking in.

The breakfast was fine but don't be late.
The air in the room was bad, leading to a persistent headache. There was an unpleasant smell upon entry that lingered throughout my stay. The heating system was inadequate.
